We are available for design and horticultural consultation throughout the US and offer complete design/build services in Connecticut and New York. 

We serve the Connecticut and New York area primarily but are available for consultation and design work throughout the US.

Design Consultation: We help clients choose the optimal site on their land to build their home or pool, tennis court, driveway, outbuildings or just a simple vegetable garden. If yours is an existing home, we offer design ideas for changing or improving features based on your lifestyle and the lay of the land.

Horticulture Consultation: We will walk your property and identify what is growing there and advise on what should be done, if anything; clear away, prune, feed or transplant.  We can tell you if it is worth the labor to transplant a specimen or if it would be better to buy new.  We will recommend other specialists in the field that we trust if that is what is needed.  

Landscape Design: Our philosophy is simple; we do not impose ‘our style’ on your property. We come to your property with no preconceptions. We listen to your needs, work with the existing topography if practical, and we observe and reflect your home’s architectural style and your lifestyle.  Every property is different and every design needs to work for that particular space.

We can design an entire master landscape plan based on a licensed surveyor’s plan which could include pools, patios, decks, driveways, pergolas, gardens, etc. or design a simple planting plan for a perennial garden.  We work on Auto Cad for efficiency and the ability to be able to share files with surveyors, architects and builders.

Installation: Taking pride in our work is the hallmark of Spring Lake Garden Design.  We personally oversee the entire job utilizing our experienced landscaping crews who have been with us for many years. Each phase of construction is reviewed to our mutual satisfaction and will meet local building codes. For cost effectiveness we subcontract with licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, pool companies, irrigation companies, and masons who have been carefully screened. We match your project with the best subcontractor for your style. We are fully insured as well as all our sub-contractors.

Outside Architecture: We design porches, decks, pergolas, gazebos, arbors & outbuildings. If we need a licensed architect there are several that we work with on a regular basis. Again, we match the architect to the project if that is what is called for.

Plant Rentals: Custom designed & planted pots to your color scheme for special events; weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduations, garden parties, etc.  We do need minimum of 3 months notice for custom plantings and 2 months notice for our standard annual pots.  Please contact us for more details.
